Dangerous delusion

Is it a good idea to use unaffordable electricity generated by highly subsidized wind farms to extract hydrogen from water and pipe it to domestic homes for heating and cooking?
    If a natural gas leak can blow up several houses, imagine what a hydrogen leak could demolish. All in the name of pretending that any reduction in carbon dioxide emissions here makes the slightest difference to the global climate.
