Battle in the East

The Alouettes visited the nation’s capital on Saturday. The Als got to scoring range half-way through Q1, on to a TD. Then they sacked the RedBlacks to a punt. Close again, charge! TD, 13-0 after a botched PAT try.
    A fake punt try didn’t work for the Als in Q2. The RBs to their 4, TD, 13-7. The Als were sacked to a FG. Close again for the home team but picked at the MA goal line. The RBs managed a FG at the end of the half for 16-10.
    A FG for the Als in Q3. Another half-way through the quarter. Then a pick got them to scoring range. TD in the last minute, 29-13. A head-but by the Ottawa defence helped the Als to another TD. A 3rd down TD for the RBs, +2, 36-21. TD in the 13th minute, 36-28. A FG by the Als got them to 39-28 and that’s how it ended.
