Imagine the horse trading that went on behind the scenes at the Church of England if it took 325 days to find a replacement Archybish of Cantab after Mr. Wetby got the bullet.
Let us hope his successor has a working brain and she’s neither a token female nor a far-Left political animal rather than someone who focuses on religious ishues.
And what can she say to sceptics who think that if we’ve managed without someone in her job for nearly eleven months, then is it really necessary?
