At the beginning of the century, we had the dotcom bubble caused by spivs over-valuing internet-based companies. Big crash when the bubble burst.
Now, the Bank of England is warning that the spivs are at it again. This time, over-valuing the potential of A.I companies. Expectations are exceeding the capacity to deliver, especially here with Edstone Milipede screwing up the electricity supply.
Buy gold instead, say the experts. Which is a reminder that we would have been £35 billion better off if Gordon F. Broon hadn’t depressed the price of gold and sold off one-half of the nation’s stock at a stonking loss to have cash to waste.
