The DoomBuggers of the BBC were at full blast yesterday. Anyone who survived the heatwaves won’t be able to both eat and heat come winter, despite global warming, or pay their rent. And, of course, any rain will be of the wrong sort and in the wrong place for topping up reservoirs.
But what else is new? Water management here has been neglected shamefully for decades.
