There’s a wonderful new blood test on the way for a range of cancers. But what, I ask myself, is the point of loading the NHS with thousands more cancer patients when it can’t cope with the existing patient list? But, no doubt, there’s someone doing wizardry with the numbers to make it look like a good deal.
