Sam Lowes was on pole for the Moto2 race but he didn’t last long. Up into the air in the first few seconds and he ended up way off the track with his bike on top of him.
The attrition continued; one crashing bike became quite a spectacular fireball briefly – well away from the rider. Great finish.
