A professor who is a security expert was expressing surprise that Israel’s Intelligence services and the government had no idea what Hamas was plotting.
What if they were pretending to turn a blind eye in the hope that a small, easily crushed shindig would avert attention from the stack of corruption charges their PM is facing? And they got the size and crushability of the shindig hopelessly wrong?
