Moto3 in Japan in the middle of our night had the red bikes ahead on lap 1/17, Öncü and Holgado. Plenty of racing down the field. The next 2 bikes were up with the reds on lap 4. Sasaki went 2nd on lap 5, Holgado went back to 4th behind Masia, who took 2nd then the lead on lap 6.
The first crash came with 8 to go, lots going on at the front. Öncü crashed with 7 to go. Masia was well ahead. 96 Holgado got past Sasaki, who did him on the run to the finish line for 2nd place.
