Hidden almost gems

I was amazed to read about China’s collection of ghost towns – replicas of places in England, Europe & the US built as part of self-enrichment scams by local political bosses.
    Apparently they have features such as a bogus Blackpool Tower and a bogus Tower Bridge and maybe even a bogus Trump Tower. They are all unoccupied by people and decaying because a communist state lacks the gumption to make a tourist trail out of them.
