Hard Luck

At first glance, the headline read: “Bank chief families are facing food price apocalypse” and my reaction was: “so is everyone else, and it’s not as if bank bosses are not well paid.”
    Then I noticed the colon after ‘chief’ and realized it was just the governor of the Bank of England, who is paid £530K!!, telling us he’s a chocolate teapot when it comes to doing anything about inflation.
