It’s all very synthetic, the comms working themselves into a lather during lap 1 of a 26-lap MotoGP race. You can’t win on the first lap. All you can do is lose by crashing.
Rossi scrapped his bike on lap 7. Miller was gone with 12 laps left. Marc Marquez worked his way up from the back to finish 7th behind a Yamaha 1-2.
