“The EU has led the way on combatting climate change,” sez Plaid Cymru MEP Jill Evans. So what has it achieved, apart from wasting a hell of a lot of taxpayers’ money? It didn’t do anything for the flood victims in Somerset and the Thames Valley, that’s for sure.
