The average temperature in a British home is 17.7 degrees Centigrade, I read. Which is a completely meaningless number, given the range of properties and locations.
There’s also the question of the shameful waste of taxpayers’ money in making the guess. Not something that ever seems to be a consideration.

So bloody what?
Foul, Ref!
How come the Russian bloody meerkats on TV haven’t been cancelled under the regulations banning everything to do with Putinstan?
Dictionary wallah, get inventing!
Hippocrisy no longer comes close, where that beery liar Starmer is concerned. We’re in the realm of the brontosaurus, size-wise, where his double standards for Labour dos during lock-in are concerned.
A way to waste some time
Counting up the number of victims of the woke mind virus I’ve never heard of, who flounced off Twitter in a cloud of indignation because they’re afraid people who challenge them will be let back into the ‘community’.

The way ahead
Looks like female MPs are going to have to turn up at the Commons in dungarees, a head scarf and a face mask so that they can’t lark about, flashing their bits at male members opposite, have a laugh about it and then throw a monstrous wobbly when someone dares to mention what they’re up to.
Laugh of the day
People in the States are shoving money at plastic surgeons to reduce the size of their nose so that it doesn’t look huge in selfies!
Bye-ee
I see the woke virus victims are threatening to abandon Twitter en masse if Mr. Musk allows free speech that’s legal, and lets people who don’t have the virus back to challenge them.
I suppose it’s too much to expect that they’ll find something useful to do with the time they would have wasted Twittering.
