The American MotoGP was another late afternoon job with Marc Marquez back in action. We started with the Moto2 event and an American on pole for the 18 laps. Sam Lowes was crashed off on lap 1, five riders gone.
    A steady rate of attrition continued. Acosta crashed on the right of the track and slid right across it to the left side; missed by everyone.
    The series leader crashed out from the lead with 11 to go. Arbolino was way out in front for his first ever Moto2 win. The American guy crashed out at turn 16 on the last lap, two corners from the end.
