You’re dining while watching something on TV. An advert ordering you to “ring us NOW”. How often does that happen; a phone call made? As close to never as makes no difference?
My standard reactions are either to ignore the command or tell them to eff off. Ad agencies must know this and it’s strange that they persist in ignoring it.
