An episode of The Champions – ‘Nutcracker’, first shown on 1969/02/01 features a bloke being Ipcressed by a dentist spy. Which left me wondering which came first, the book or the TV episode. Cue a trip to Mr. Internet. And the book by Len Deighton was published in 1962. Which is no real surprise.
