Some jobsworth toerag of a civil service mandarin has produce a review of the balance of power between Britain and the European Union; and come to the conclusion that it’s “about right”. Which leaves Dave the Leader with egg all over his face after issuing all sorts of promises about rebalancing things and giving us a referendum on EU membership after he’s done his renegotiations with the Eurocrats in Brussels.
