Jonah Burnbum is always droning on about Manchester being in the north, but a cartographer has worked out that the geographical centre of Britain is 40 miles north of Manchester, which puts the city in the midlands. And ignores the fact that the context of Up North is England, not Britain, as there is another government beyond the border at the north end of England.
