The Milipede Madness record for paying wind farms to switch off was shattered on the 2nd Saturday of this month. That’s when it reached £1 billion of our money darn the drain for nothing in return.
These constraint payments wasted £1.5 billion in 2025. They expected to reach £3.2 billion this year.
