The RoughRiders travelled east to face the RedBlacks on a perfect evening. The home team stopped the opening drive with a turn-over and zoomed to a TD. They blocked a punt half-way through Q1, short field, FG from Lauther, 0-10. Finally, the Riders scored a TD early in Q2. The RB coughed up the kick off return, FG, 10-all. One for either team, 13-all at half time.
    Two minutes in to Q3, the RR returned a punt for a TD! A FG in reply from the RB, 20-16. Another RR TD to close Q3. A bomb pass early in Q4 put the RedBlacks at the RR 1, TD, no +2, 27-22. The RB got close but went out on downs. The RR ate clock to win 27-22.
