Retro? No way!

One of my correspondents, a prolific writer who rejoiced when he could afford a PC and a laser printer via earnings from the 1992 general election campaign, is not going back to the 1970s.
    Yes, he still has his second typewriter – he wore the first one out – but he is not going to give up being able to design and print his own thermal-bound and hardback volumes for any iggorant git from Wigan. So there!
p.s. Do they still make ribbons for typewriters?
