Rather suspicious

One of my correspondents had received an official booklet about the election for a new mayor for Greater Manchester to replace the lying sod who swore blind he’d serve his full term.
    The seven candidates are listed alphabetically early on. But their individual plugs aren’t. The Conservative plug is last, even though the party name is first alphabetically and the man himself is in the middle of the candidate list.
