Common ground

Something the Bond continuer, John Gardner, has in common with the Cussler family, Clive and his son Dirk, is a tendency to over-explain everything. A good way to bulk out a book, it can get very tedious for the reader.
    That last sentence is a good example of Clive Cussler’s A.I style. Dirk can do it less obtrusively.
