What exactly is a digital ID? Can’t be something on a pocket phone as lots of people don’t have one and millions are stolen every year.
How about a fingerprint? Cue loud yells of “Unfair!” from people hoping to make money out of the fingerless. It has to be a plastic card, then. Which can be stolen.
