Philosophy Bites No. 1

A few hundred years ago, the Spanish Inquisition and other Catholic institutes were burning people alive to intimidate the rest of the population into doing what the Church ordered. In the current era, we have faux Islamists committing mass murder for much the same reason. So is it any wonder that more and more people are choosing to have nothing at all to do with religion in any form? Not really. Different “faith”, same story.
