Another good reason for not going to Europe this summer, on top of the EFU border shambles delays and the wildfires, is the arrival of West Nile virus. There is no cure for it and severe cases can become fatalities.

Not a sensible place to be
An added hazard to the residents of Bordeau is the possibility that the wildfires in their area will become explosive. There are missile and rocket factories in the region, and an army camp that’s choc-a-bloc with buried military ammunition.
Not a sensible place to build
Rebuild a shopping mall in Japan after it was badly damaged by an earthquake in 2016. Claim the rebuild has given it seismically reinforced ceilings at last month’s re-opening.
Then what happens? The whole thing collapses thanks to an R6.8 quake this week.

It has been suggested that if the Labour lot want a new emblem to replace the wilted New Labour rose, then they should go for a design that features a hood and a wink to tell the customers wot the party is really all about.
