We’re doomed

Once upon a time, we were told there are enuff reserves of fossil fuels yet untapped to last 200 years.
    But thanks to the many failings of politicians, we now have experts telling us that the UK will run out of gas if we have a cold winter this year and at the start of next year.
    And, of course, the occasionals remain as unreliable as ever. The Sun don’t shine during long winter nights and the winds can be relied on to blow too fast or not at all.
