Gherkin Budget flopped

The opinion on the budget is that it;s a nothing affair. It won’t reduce the costa living – that’s going up. It won’t make us safer. It won’t reduce the benefits bill – doing that was binned in yet another U-turn.
    And taxes are going up by £7 billion/year to buy benefits votes. And inflation and government borrowing are going up. And all cans remain kicked down the road.
