Do human beings, including violent criminals, have an ‘inherent dignity’? The concept of built-in dignity appears to be on offer mainly by those seeking to exploit people, particularly those motivated by the likes of religion and politics.
    It’s certainly not a reason for preventing society from being protected from defectives with no regard for others.
