Beach excitement

Emergency services went into full flap/panic mode when half a dozen 10-foot metal spheres turned up on a beach in Queensland. The Australian Space Agency concluded that they were rocket-fuel tanks, which had survived the re-entry of a foreign spacecraft.
    Made of titanium alloys, these space balls are among the most common bitz of space junk encountered, the experts reckon.
