The Taxpayers’ Alliance has calculated that the UK’s real National Debt is £12 TRILLION, not £3 TRILLION. The government is trying to ignore liabilities such as unfunded state and public sector pensions, PFI contracts and the cost of tidying up nuclear sites. Which makes a HUGE difference.
● Will the current Chancellor’s October budget get us up to £13 TRILLION if Jonah Burnbum is okay with discarding the current fiscal rules?
