Lost cause

Labour isn’t committed to spending 3% of GDP on Defence because its benefits clients are gobbling up all the cash. That’s the gist of Defence Sec. Wee Streeting’s position on the subject. And none of this is his fault, of course.
    That this is no longer essential is also the message from Evasive Jonah, the Pretender Fantasist, and the former Defence Sec. Healey, now the Chancellor, is similarly silent.
