Snail with gout mail?

I ordered some small items from Amazon yesterday (Thursday) and I was advised in the email that the order would be delivered on Thursday or Friday.
    “Blimey, that’s quick!” I thought. Then I noticed that it’s Thursday or Friday of next week.
    Not so blimey.
