There was an interesting point in an article by a dietician in this week’s Sunday Post. She had opted to spend a week eating only whole foods and doing without her usual ultra-processed extras.
Her shopping was more expensive and took a lot longer than usual due to the need to check labels. And it was only possible, she concluded, on a skive-@-home day!
Everything took longer to cook but the diet made her feel better. But it’s not practical for someone who has to work for a living.
