Alibi for the judge

The reason why judges make what are obviously ludicrous decisions to real people is that they don’t have any contact with the real world, a former president of the Law Society has explained.
    Which could almost be a plea for real people to be appointed as judicial assistants, who will dip one hand into the public purse for a fat salary and use the other to give their judge a clip round the ear to tell them they’re doing something daft.
