The prime minister is said to have given up on his ban on BOGOF offers to conquer the obesity plague because some genius worked out that it would reduce calorie intakes by just three per day.
    Maybe he should have consulted the accountants who managed to make the SNP’s minimum pricing of alcohol policy look like a howling success.
